I was a member with Amex for 15 years. I had a 50 thousand dollar credit limit. Never missed a payment once in 15 years. I decided to get Amex business checking and get some extra credit cards because it requires a credit card for the business checking because I was having problems with my local bank and I got those credit cards. Well, Amex started their credit department began to start limit my credit across all my personal accounts and all the business accounts, which I wasn't aware that that was going to happen because they each have their own tax ID numbers and their own income. Yes, I personally guarantee them but. What I realized was that they only look at my income for credit worthiness not the businesses which makes no sense to me. So what they started doing is they lowered my credit on my 50 thousand dollar limit. I only owed 15 thousand on it. They lowered my credit limit to 15 thousand. And just sent me an email which basically lowers my lowers what creates a situation where I went from using 20 percent of my available credit to 99 percent of my available credit which ruins your credit score. The other thing that they do is if there's a problem with any of your cards they shut off all the cards everything until that's rectified immediately so i had opened a credit card for one of my businesses because i was going to get the checking it had a month a yearly fee of 95 dollars but i never activated the card. And i forgot about it and they billed me the 95 dollars as the only charge on the card and because i didn't pay it within 45 days of when they gave the card to me they put a hold on all my other credit cards my entire you know portfolio for all the businesses and i was like what card am i delinquent on? Like well you didn't pay the charge on this card and i was like i don't i haven't even activated that card i don't use that card. I go what's the charge? Your annual fee that's the first charge we charge you. I was like that's kind of bs. Anyway um they've been they've been messing with me this whole time and now that i'm having issues with uh uwm uh they they've decided to lower my credit limit again on a card that i've never been delinquent on and never missed a payment uh so yeah i'm uh i'm not happy with with american express.
